GOSPEL – SUNDAY, 13 AUGUST, 2017 – Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Matt 14:22-33)

GOSPEL – SUNDAY, 6 AUGUST, 2017 – Transfiguration of the Lord (Matt 17:1-9)

His face was shining like the sun.

Jesus took with him Peter and James and his brother John and led them up a high mountain where they could be alone. What is bad they throw away. Thus it will be at the end of the age. The angels will go out and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.
